Is Satan Gathering His Masses In This Lubbock Field?

What It Is

A Facebook post revealed something very strange in a Lubbock field off Idalou Road. The field, which has nothing else remarkable about it, has a giant star somehow embedded in it. The star could easily be someone's idea of a pentagram. So is this a sign of creativity or a sign of something darker?

What Is This Symbol?

A pentagram is described as a five-pointed star, usually drawn by using one continuous line of five straight segments. This was news to me, as I thought the star also had to have a circle around it to make it a pentagram, but those are Wiccan pentagrams. Pentagrams are often considered Satanic and tend to creep some people out.

So Here It Is

A Facebook post in the group, Google Earth, Structures, and Anomalies shows a giant pentangle in a field in Lubbock somewhere off Idalou Road. It doesn't take much to make out the shape and the picture a least shows a downward-pointing orientation which is supposed to resemble a goat head. I am personally not into the supernatural, but that doesn't mean that people who are don't creep me out a bit. So what do you think, is this just a farmer having fun or something far more sinister?
