Star Comics Hosts Ladies Night This Weekend

This Saturday night is one for the ladies at Star Books and Comics.

First and foremost, costumes are welcome for the event. The night is dedicated to ladies who comics and who would like to check out new stories and meet other like-minded women.  The store will have featured artists and other added attractions as well. An event invite has been posted here.

I have to say, from knowing the folks at Star, that this isn't just a cheap marketing ploy. It's a night for people who are truly passionate about their hobby.

Star Books and Comics has a new, bigger location at 3504 34th street.  The event is from 6:30 to 9:00;
