Study Shows Texas Tech Students Among Least Fashionable in U.S.
Texas Tech University just ranked #15 in the top 25 least fashionable schools in the United States according to a study by StyleSeat. The study analyzed over 6,000 Instagram photos that were geo-tagged in locations of the most popular universities and colleges in America.
One of the main trends they discovered among Texas Tech students is that comfort is key. Students love dressing in loungewear, oversized tees, bike shorts, and sweatpants. If you live in this area, you probably don't need a study to tell you that. Comfy clothes are super popular at Tech. We aren't the only ones that like to get cozy, though. The University of Minnesota, Twin Cities ranked as the number one coziest college campus, followed by the University of Washington, Seattle, and the Georgia Institute of Technology.
So, what university scored the highest on the fashion test? You probably won't be surprised to learn that Princeton University students were ranked at number one for the amount of effort they put into looking sharp every day.
Do you think this was a fair assessment? All I can say is that college is hard enough without having to worry about what you are wearing. I see no problem with sweatpants and T-shirts. Hell, that's what I wear to work every day right now. I find it easier to focus when I'm feeling comfy and relaxed.
