Tacos And Tequila Concert Has Been Postponed

The 3rd Annual Taco's And Tequila festival is being postponed. The Announcement.

This is what they call "No Bueno!" Officials with the Taco's & Tequila festival are postponing the show that was scheduled for September 7th. The announcement we were sent (and that is now online) says "Due To Circumstances Beyond Our Control..." that the event will be postponed and rescheduled. Organizers are planning on trying to make lemonade out of this lemon by announcing a two-day makeup festival. The announcement further says that people who purchased tickets in advance will be able to use that one ticket for the new festival dates.

Refunds?

There is no information on refunds at this time. We do not have any information that is not contained in the press release below. It's my assumption that refunds will be offered when the new dates are announced in case you can't make it, or in case the lineup has substantially changed.

Speculation

The lineup has become a a little "snakebit" with various bands experiencing problems. First came news that Giovannie from Giovannie and the Hired Guns went into rehab. Then Wes Scantlin of Puddle of Mudd was arrested AGAIN. Both did show that they still had the Lubbock date on their schedule. We are not sure what happened with 311, but the current tour dates on their website end on August 31st and resume on September 14th so they may have known of, or have been a part of the postponement before us.
