Tesla is Coming to Lubbock at the old Reagor Dykes location

According to Tesla's website, we will soon have a store here. It says that it is set to open in quarter one of 2022 and by the building looks it definitely is coming together.

According to LoopNet, it is set to open in March 2022.

"The Tesla offering consists of three buildings adding up to 18,671 square feet with approx. 57 parking spaces, (additional 144 parking space car lot) on a generous 4.19 acres."

You can check out their plans on the building and what is going to come on their summary. This will be a big addition to Lubbock and the community. It will be four acres and definitely something new to add to Lubbock for those who want to drive around electric cars.

Tesla was founded in 2003 and builds not only all-electric vehicles but also infinitely scalable clean energy generation and storage products. The company is now based out of Austin, TX. It was founded by the American entrepreneurs' Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning and now the CEO is Elon Musk.

It will be located at 6626 82nd St at the old Reagor Dykes Mitsubishi. That location closed down in 2019 due to rent not being paid. It has remained empty until now.

If you drive by there now you can see a lot has been done but as for more details than that we don't have any. It has definitely been kept under wraps until now.
