Texas Is One Of The Best States For Military Veterans

With Veteran's Day coming up this Saturday, I thought it would be a good time to check in and see how Texas treats its vets.

Technically, this study lists itself as "The Best (And Worst) States For Military Retirees", but it's close enough to mention.

Texas was listed in the top 10, at number 8 in this survey. One of the primary reasons we scored so high was the category of "Most VA Facilities Per Number Of Veterans" where we came in 4th.

The blog also factored in "Lowest Number Of Homeless Vets", "Most Job Opportunites For Vets", "Most Affordable Housing", "Most Veterans Per Capita", and "Highest Number Of Veteran Owned Business".

It's good to know that Texas steps up for veterans
