Kansas State was in town for the weekend, and consequently left with three losses pegged to their record thanks to the Red Raiders.

April 2nd became a doubleheader day after April Fool's Day's crazy weather. Tech came out and hung 10 runs on the Wildcats while only allowing three during the first game. The second game actually turned out almost identical, as the Red Raiders logged another 10 runs while allowing four.

Sunday, the action was a bit closer but Tech was able to prevail after holding off a balanced attack by KSU, breaking out the brooms to the tune of a 6-5 victory.
