In yet another hard game to watch for the Red Raider faithful, Texas Tech basketball recorded another loss, this time to the TCU Horned Frogs Saturday, losing 62-42.

It's the first time that Tubby Smith has ever lost the first five conference games of any season, which is a testament to how much work this team has to do. I think many people don't realize how much this team is truly starting from scratch with multiple freshmen in the starting lineup and a key injury to one of those freshman, Justin Gray.

There's plenty of reason to invest in the future for this team, as I definitely think prize players like Zach Smith and Norense Odiase will eventually be very, very good. Justin Gray is a lock as a great player, as well, though this knee injury is likely stunting his growth as a competitor.

For now, it's tough to be a fan, very tough. But the success will come; I think that's inevitable. Stick with this team,
