Texas Tech Drops Game One Of Two Against New Mexico State

Tuesday, the Red Raiders returned to action in the Hub City against the Aggies of New Mexico State, but were unable to overcome two innings of three-run bursts from the visiting team and fell 7-6.

Tech responded after giving up three runs in the first inning by earning five runs of their own in the third.

The Aggies then added three more runs in the fifth inning, as both teams then logged a run apiece in the seventh.

The loss drops Tech down to 6-3 on the season and the two teams will battle again tomorrow at 2pm.
