The 18th-ranked Red Raiders had a chance to solidify a huge series over the Cowboys from Stillwater, but fell in the third and final game of the series 6-3 on Sunday.

Going into the series, Tech had started to get rhythm against Big 12 opponents and even opened up the three-game set with the Pokes with a victory Friday night.

Oklahoma State had other plans the rest of the weekend, as the ninth-ranked team in the land show why they were just that.

As the season is starting to wind down, Tech could use some more key victories, and will certainly have a chance to achieve those before heading into the postseason. Next up, the Red Raiders will play a two-game series against Grand Canyon starting Tuesday.
