Texas Tech Takes Series Over Kansas

The Red Raider baseball team took a much-needed stride in the right direction this weekend, defeating Kansas two out of three times and winning their first conference series of the season.

The team dropped the home opener for Big 12 play, but made sure to right the ship and take the next two. Kansas won 7-4 on Friday, as Tech evened it up Saturday by a final of 9-3. The Red Raiders then did exactly what they had to on Sunday and defeated the Jayhawks 3-2 Sunday.

I'm certainly curious to see how the team responds to New Mexico, as, again, the team will do battle another single time with the Lobos on Tuesday.
