Most visitors to Nightmare on 19th Street think that the park opens and closes in October and then just sits there until it reopens a year later, but this could not be further from the truth.  The masters of horror, Wes Nessman, Lynn Day and their Scary Band of monster makers take a few weeks off in November and then immediately jump right back into the construction process.  Each of last years attractions are being remodeled and enlarged once again.  The best part of this years additions will be the overhaul and rebuilding of Badger Hollow (Holler).  The new permanent buildings have the appearance of an old western ghost town complete with saloon, jail, sheriff, hangman, outhouse and a bridge over a running stream. This new walk through the east side of the park will add another 10 minutes of horror to the nights adventure.  Another enhancement is the addition of a wine room and a room full of crated monsters in Blood Moon Manor.  Here are some photos of the new constructions underway, and also a few photos of a line of heavy duty axe and hammer props, created by Lynn Day and being sold on E-Bay.  Anyone interested in being an actor this year may contact them on Facebook:  FACEBOOK.COM/NIGHTMAREON19TH or on the web: NIGHTMAREON19THSTREET.COM (Photos follow)
