‘The Day The Music Died’ Celebration
It is hard to believe it has been fifty seven years since Buddy Holly, J.P. Richardson (The Big Bopper), Ritchie Valens, and Roger Peterson (the pilot of the ill fated plane) all perished.
The folks at the Buddy Holly Center here in The Hub City make it a point to keep their memories alive for all generations by holding special events each year to honor these men and to expose as many people as possible to the music that also died with these men.
This year is no exception and on February 3rd, the day of the plane crash that took these amazingly talented men from the world, the Buddy Holly Center will hold a celebration of their music and their lives full of activities and events to honor their memories.
Don't miss the opportunity to relive the music.
