I remember the first time that myself and The Heathen announced we were doing this.

Inception

At the time of it's introduction, there weren't many trunk or treat type events in Lubbock. We certainly weren't the originators of the thing, but we did provide one of the coolest stops along the way. This event does not happen in a parking lot, but at the location of one of the largest Haunted Theme Parks in Texas.

The Event

The RockShow's Little Kids Trick Or Treat will be this Sunday at 5:30. We will have "stations" set up for a quick trip around our Mayhem Midway.  We will forewarn you that there is a large display with a 12 foot skeleton and multiple smaller skeletons that we can't hide from young eyes (none have seemed too upset by it before).

Details

Thanks to an incredibly generous donation from United Supermarkets, we can handle 500-600 kids. Our friends from Blue Bell Ice Cream are also out while supplies last. We try to be done in one hour, at 6:30, so the park may resume preparations for operations. We have a few photo ops the kids can take pictures in including adult sized coffins and an electric chair.

And More

Nightmare On 19th Street is located in the rear of the Lone Star Amphitheater at 602 East 19th. Again, we wish we could give every kid in Lubbock a bag full of Halloween candy, but every candy bowl goes dry at some point. Arrive early for your best chance to get involved.
