Photos: Beware of TikTok Beauty Hacks Like This One

This poor girl, guys. I feel so bad for her.

Tilly Whitfeld, a contestant on Big Brother, revealed that she was going out of her way to cover up terrible scarring she suffered as a result of trying out a beauty hack she saw on TikTok.

"I literally shoved needles deep into my skin this is not a rash lol," Whitfeld wrote at the bottom of an Instagram post she shared with her followers about the ordeal.

It must have taken immense courage to share the photos of herself with the world, which can be a rather cruel place. Most of her followers seem sympathetic to her situation, but of course, there are a handful of a-holes out there waiting for a chance to laugh at anyone other than themselves.

There are plenty of new tricks out there that are supposed to make you more beautiful or more flawless. You can't seem to get online without being bombarded by a few makeup videos. There's absolutely nothing wrong with doing whatever you want with your body to make you happy, but don't be persuaded by things that involve actual needles unless you're with a professional that knows what they're doing.

When you're looking into a new beauty procedure, be aware of scammers out there trying to make a buck off of your trusting nature. Research what you're doing extensively beforehand.
