Two Texans Busted For Attempting To Enter Kyle Field Dressed As Construction Workers
It was far from the perfect plan...
Security
I have been through my share of security battles. I will say that if you are respectful, the security people will be respectful with you. If you are a jerk, then you're dealing with people who can send that back at you tenfold. No one really likes to be "tricked" when it comes to security and in some cases it's treated like what it can be, which is life or death. Security people are charged with protecting stuff, and the good ones take thier jobs seriously.
I'm Guilty
In the early days I found it pretty easy to get around security. I guess maybe being somewhat well known around town helped, but my "go to" ploy to get backstage was pretty simple, I'd just walk around with something that looked like a bill while talking on my phone intensely. The fact was, NO ONE wanted to deal with a bill, they just wanted to rock and roll and night and party every day.
The Offenders
Some men tried a somewhat similar ploy at Kyle Field in College Station. The men dressed as construction workers and tried to bypass security that way. Wait, before you think, "That's a pretty clever idea", the men's credential identified them as "Harry Azcrac" and "Duncan McCockiner". While completely hilarious, the names are kind of a giveaway that you're dealing with a pair of jokers. They were no match for the security team who had them arrested for criminal trespass.
