We are about waist-deep in this pandemic and we can either go deeper or come out of it.

Scientists estimate that if this pandemic were a 24-hour clock, we're at about 5 a.m. That clock can keep moving forward or it can be set back. All it's going to take to get through this is toughness and diligence.

You CAN still see your friends, and get food or go shopping; you just have to do it wisely. You have to protect yourself and others by washing your hands, wearing a mask, and keeping your distance.

These minor irritations (for some) aren't that big of a deal. If you've ever broken a bone, had a condition or had some other personal circumstance, you know that this COVID time frame is going to seem like a blip in the rear-view mirror.

This isn't being sent to war or being poisoned by your water, this is something that you can manage and make it through. A relatively small percentage of the population is infected and a smaller percentage than that will die or have long-term side effects. Our problem is many, many people getting sick at once and we've already seen some of the effects of that.

So, I'm suggesting once again that you mask up, clean up, and watch your distance. You don't even have to believe it's necessary, just do it because you want to come out of this as a good person would did their part to help.
