The presale for the 34th annual FMX Birthday Bash is over. We'd like to thank each and every one of you for supporting this show. And now, we're going to thank you big time by giving you MORE for your money.

This year's FMX Birthday Bash just got massive with even more bands to the lineup. Topping the list is Lubbock favorite Hollywood Undead. In addition, Nonpoint will be moving their scheduled date and playing the Birthday Bash instead. 36 Crazy Fists and Scare Don't Fear have also been added.

We can not thank Three Days Grace and The Pretty Reckless enough for committing to a 10-hour haul from Tuscon, Arizona to play this show.

We were set to have a small club show or no Birthday Bash at all, but all these bands stepped up to make this a festival. More importantly, we want to thank our loyal listeners for supporting this presale.

This is also a good chance to talk about why things are done the way they are done.

A lot of concert retailers out there these days will discount unsold tickets right before a show. We talked to Din Productions about this, and we both agreed that it's better to reward the people who buy tickets early than to give a break to people who wait until the last minute.

Arrangements like this have to go into the contracts signed with the bands because a part of their pay is based on the amount of tickets sold. We decided that 1,000 was a good, fair amount for each of these festival type shows.

Three Days Grace are currently enjoying the no. 1 song in America and their second no. 1 with new singer Mark Walst. This is a HUGE victory for the band after original singer Adam Gontier bailed on the band on the eve of a major tour. I've personally seen the band with this lineup and they are energized, rawer and even heavier.

The Pretty Reckless are now enjoying their third top 10 hit. Singer Taylor Momsen began putting the band together in 2007 and tightened the act up on the road. Their first album "Light Me Up" was released in 2010, with the latest "Going To Hell" dropping in March of last year.

Hellyeah returns to bring their heavy vibe to the show. The remnants of Pantera/Mudvayne & Nothingface is MORE than enough to help us celebrate our birthday, and we'll no doubt stay late to celebrate with them.

Also on the bill, new favorites Starset who are enjoying their second top 15 hit with "Carnivore." The incredibly theatrical and heavy Avatar return as well. It looks like the only loss in this change up is Aranda, and we'll make sure to get them to town when they finish up their new album.

Regular tickets go on sale today (Friday, Feb. 13) at 10 a.m.
