I guess I wasn't the only one that spent every Saturday morning for years watching "Kung Fu Theater" on USA (it was on right after the weekend edition of the WWE). The show featured 'grindhouse' type Kung Fu movies with bad edition, bad dialogue and buckets upon buckets of blood. The movies also always featured an all blonde or all white haired villain, a wild haired comedic relief kind of guy and a 'beautiful but dangerous' female assassin. This trailer hits all the right notes and features some real gushing wounds. More after the break.

I hope you got to catch my review of Prometheus (in a word: AWESOME). I only go to the movies for movies that 'deserve' to be seen on the big screen. By "deserve" I mean huge scenic vistas, larger than life stuff, and of course, to avoid spoilers. While taking in Prometheus I noticed a lineup of classic films that are going to play short (in some cases just one night) engagements at the theater. Some, absolutely, positively deserve to be seen on the big screen. More after the jump.

Wow, this looks like FUN+ROCKY. Kevin James, who is a big man (meaning a bit of a fatty), has obviously dropped a ton of weight to play a teacher who has to raise money to save some school programs. "Fright Night" Is Great Fun

I loved the original "Fright Night". It mixed comedy with some genuinely scaring ideas. Seriously, who would you call for help if you thought a vampire was eating your neighborhood? The remake, sorry to say, is better than the original. The original mixed a little goofy with a little scary, the remake mixes really funny with very scary. More after the jump.

Man I like the looks of this movie. The thing I like best is that it doesn't look all computer generated and stuff, it looks more "organic" (which is a strange thing for a movie essentially about a robot). I also like how the robot has got a cool steampunk vibe even thought the movie apparently takes place in our near future. More after the jump.

I am so pumped for the new movie "Prometheus" . The movie is from the creative forces behind the "Alien" movies, but (apparently) doesn't really deal with those creatures. From what I gather, earthlings travel to space to "meet our makers" and for one reason or another, all hell breaks loose.
