If you've lived in Lubbock for more than five minutes, you've probably heard someone say, "Wow, a car hit the neighbor's house." It's no longer shocking; it's just another day in Lubbock. Folks here seem to struggle with keeping their vehicles on the road and out of people's living rooms.

Seriously, what's the deal?

Maybe, we're all just looking at it wrong, and houses in Lubbock aren't just homes, they're obstacles, and this is all just some big, silly video game. I'm not sure the victims of these drunken accidents would accept that theory, but it is what it is. It might be a good idea to invent airbags for brick walls or something.
