Watch Cops Tackle Drunk Driver After Late Night Crash in Small Texas Town

The Facebook page Mugshots of Randall County shared a video of an alleged drunk driver after an unfortunate crash off of I-40 and Georgia in Amarillo, Texas.

There's nothing funny about the circumstance that occurred before this video was taken, but this guy's attempt to flee the police might make you chuckle. It was pretty pathetic.

The man in the video can be seen attempting to push his totaled vehicle out of the middle of the road when approached by a bystander (who happens to be our cameraman).

He seems disoriented and at one point gets back into his car before being yelled at by the other driver involved in the accident.

He makes a sad attempt at fleeing from the police with his shoes in his hands before he is taken down in the parking lot of Toot'n Totum by an officer.

Just a reminder to everyone that it is most certainly worth it to spend the extra cash on a safe ride home if you are under the influence. Make a plan before you go out so that the thought of getting behind the wheel doesn't even cross your mind.
