It's coming back soon. The fashion forward Charlotte Russe is getting set to re-open its doors at South Plains Mall, according to the mall's office.

This long-standing clothing store, founded in 1975, filed bankruptcy this past February and closed all of its stores, more than 400 locations. The South Plains Mall location closed its doors on April 30th.

But within weeks, the retailer was purchased by Canada-based YM Inc., who began re-opening and rebuilding, according to USA Today.

It's great to see that the Lubbock store is now one of the Charlotte Russe locations set to re-open, and just in time for Christmas. Part of the re-vitalization of the store includes seriously upgraded website and online shopping. Right now, the store's location in the South Plains Mall is still shuttered, but the vibrant signage remains.

Welcome back to Lubbock, Charlotte Russe!
