Until this morning, at around 6 am, I had no idea there was a Puppy Bowl, with adoptable puppies scoring points on a miniature football field.

This information came as a complete shock to me this morning while hosting The Rockshow. Wes Nessman was baffled by my confusion at the subject when mentioned, and the sheer fact that I had truly never heard of the Puppy Bowl. I really had no idea that you had the option of changing the channel and watching adorable puppies instead of football, for the LAST 17 YEARS.

Why? Why didn't anyone tell me? I could have been hosting parties solely focused on the puppies instead of dragging myself to the real football ones.

You would think that at some point I would have noticed it online, but I tend to avoid the subject of football as often as possible especially when people are ranting and raving on Facebook right before and after the biggest game of the year. I can't recall anyone mentioning it to me. Ever.

I spent a good 20 minutes today doing nothing but watching videos of puppies "scoring" points with their chewie toys and stuffed bears. They even bring in adoptable kittens and other animals as well.

HOW DID I MISS THIS?

Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart will be hosting this year's Puppy Bowl on Discovery + and I have never been more excited for a Super Bowl Sunday. It only took me 17 years to discover the Puppy Bowl.

Next, you'll tell me you can actually buy bread presliced from the store. What a day that will be.

My life is forever changed, and I know exactly what I'll be doing on Sunday.
