LISD Summer has Officially Begun: Congratulations 2011 Graduates [PICS]

Lubbock schools dismissed class for the seniors of the class of 2011 for the last time this past Friday. For many it was a bitter sweet day, for others it was a day they thought would never come.No matter where the emotions lie for the students the parents of these "kids" were scurring around making preparations for graduation. Family, friends and loved ones of Monterey students gathered Friday night to watch their seniors walk across the stage and accept their diplomas.

This would be the scene three more times on Saturday as the senior classes of 2011 from Estacado, Lubbock High and Coronado all walked across that same stage taking one more step towards their future.

To these graduates and their parents I say CONGRATULATIONS, YOU MADE IT!
