Update: Tickets are now on sale for Corey Taylor's Lubbock, Texas concert. You can pick them up online here, or at Ralph's Records. But act quickly: there aren't too many left after the presale.

Original post: We really hoped this would happen.

J & B Productions reached out to Corey Taylor's management about the incredible demand for tickets in Lubbock, and their persistence has paid off. The Corey Taylor show we announced in March will now take place outdoors at the Lone Star Events Center on Thursday, May 20th, 2021.

This move to the outdoor area means that 600 more tickets are available. I must also say that making the show outdoors is a great move as we (hopefully) bring the COVID-19 pandemic to a close.

Tickets will are back on sale now, but you need a special code word to get in on the presale. We've sent that out exclusively to folks who've downloaded the 94.5 FMX app that morning, so download it now if you haven't already and make sure to turn on push notifications.

Tickets will also be available online and at Ralph's Records at 82nd and Indiana beginning Friday, April 9th.

It's very important that you check out this disclaimer since it applies to health guidelines that will be enforced at the show, including wearing face coverings:

Be advised, that this show, regardless of State guidelines, COVID Health Protocols Shall Be Strictly Enforced By Purchaser for all Employees, Patrons and Artists Throughout Entirety Of Event. All Patrons Are Required To Wear Masks At All Times When NOT In Their Pod or At Their Table / Seat. Patrons Shall Be Required To Practice Social Distancing At All Times When NOT In Their Pod or At Their Table / Seat. There will be Temperature Checks at Entry. Patrons Included In Each Pod or Table Shall Be Required To Enter Venue Together.
Together we can stop COVID-19

If you were hoping for a pit with this show, it's not going to happen. These are rules straight from Corey Taylor's management, and neither 94.5 FMX nor J & B Productions can change them. In fact, J & B has to go to great expense to enforce these rules. The least we can do for the crew is to follow the rules so we can get back to regular shows.
