Trying to underscore the seriousness of a proposed THC ban, Patrick handed a group of reporters “snacks,” apparently bought at a vape store. He asked, “You want to go home and eat a bag of this tonight, see if you’re here tomorrow?” Okay, Grandpa—if it were that deadly, wouldn't the vape shop be surrounded by bodies?

Patrick takes issue with the candy-like flavors and packaging of THC products, assuming they’re marketed to kids. Apparently, he’s never noticed that adults also like candy, particularly retro treats.

He also waved around a $90 bag of mango jellies, insisting, “It’s all sold for kids.” Because yeah, kids are just out there casually dropping $90 on edibles.

Just to be clear, Patrick doesn't want adults to have these products either, saying, "What are you, crazy?" to a reporter who asked about responsible adults having them.

The Lt. Governor is apparently unhappy not because there's any doubt that the ban will be signed into law, but because he's already seeing repercussions and talks of business closures due to his reefer-madness tales of death and destruction that there is absolutely no evidence of.

Yes, that's right friends. There have be no, that's ZERO pediatric deaths due to edibles, anywhere.  Yes, there's been a number of kids "poisoned", usually by getting into their parents stuff, but they recover fine. As for Patrick's tales of drugged wedding cakes and people walking in front of trains, I couldn't find evidence of any of that. What IS clear is that Patrick takes a ton of money from the THC industries chief rivals, the alcohol industry.

Unfortunately for responsible adults, Patrick is going to help walk this bill into law in his oversized clown shoes.
