On July 5, 2001, Disturbed, Slipknot, Linkin Park, Papa Roach and Mudvayne hit the stage at the Lone Star Amphitheater.

It was all killer and no filler.  Seriously, when was the last concert where EVERY SINGLE BAND ON THE BILL ended up becoming a headliner?

This show has since taken on legendary status, and rightfully so: it's one of those concerts that everybody claims to have gone to. But even though it was huge, it wasn't the biggest concert ever out there (in terms of attendance).

I have a few memories when it comes to this show.

I remember I was still trying to find parking when Mudvayne was on.  I remember that Linkin Park played during daylight and went out into the crowd after their set to sign autographs. I remember David from Disturbed came out of some type of glass box. I remember one of the guys from Slipknot jumped off one of the lighting towers. But most of all I remember Jacoby from Papa Roach (when he was still heavy set) crowdsurfing.

What I can't remember is how the lineup went. I know Mudvayne was first and Slipknot was last. I know Papa Roach played during the dark so they were probably next to last. I just can't remember if Disturbed played before Linkin Park or vice-versa.

Maybe someone out there can help me out and leave it in the comment section below.

I'm also wondering if anyone has any pictures from this show that they can upload and share on our Facebook page.

I do know one thing from this show that exists out there. There are a couple of moments of Linkin Park fooling around in Lubbock on the documentary "Frat Party at The Pancake Festival.  At about 10:24, there's about two seconds or less of Chester on stage at the Amphitheater (it's the same shot as the picture above). There's also a quick bit around the 20-minute mark where they go to the Pete's on Avenue Q.
