FMX Purple Party And Other Shows In The Planning Stages

With the FMX Birthday Bash announced and excitement building, the question "when's the FMX Purple Party happening?" keeps coming up. Well, I can tell you that it looks like it will happen, but it's going to be a bit different this year.

It's looking a lot like we'll be having the FMX Purple Party during a weekday. It's a bummer, but you'll have plenty of advance notice if you need to take the next day off of work. It will probably be a one stage event. The lineup up though, well it's looking pretty dang good.  I can't give you many more details right now, but I want to change peoples expectations a little bit before we get to it. It WILL be smaller, it Will be during the week, but it WILL be awesome.  Once again, we are suffering the ill after effects of all the mega festivals that are out there right now. We feel that this is a temporary problem that will shake out, even though it may take another year to do so.

It also looks like we'll have at least two more big shows coming up. One will be with a legendary/classic band and the other is such an awesome double bill, that I don't want to get any hopes up at all until it is 100% for sure.  All of this is just what I know of as of now. As I mentioned the mega-festivals are screwing things up, but that could also benefit us later in the year when the bands are looking for more places to play.
