Another Lubbock favorite is circling back around to Jake's Backroom.

It's weird right now when you hear a family name/face is coming back to town. It seems soon-ish, but real fans know that none of these bands -- in fact, almost no bands -- have played live in 14 months.

This brings us to the Lubbock-favorite 10 Years. These guys don't just have fans; they have uber fans. These are fans that go deep and know every song, every member, and every bit of arcane trivia about the band.

You have another opportunity to see why there's so much love for this band coming up on July 17th, 2021 at Jake's Backroom. Opening the show will be Moonflower. Tickets will be available here at any moment (there was a malfunction on the website as I was writing this).

Let's chat a bit more about how close this band is to the fans. They offer all kinds of cool incentives and signed memorabilia on their website, plus virtual meet-and-greets. They've really taken the love to a street level and I can really respect that.

The band's output is pretty incredible, too, with nine albums and two EPs to their credit. It's a pretty safe bet that if they're headed out to the road that more new music will be forthcoming.
