I moved to the tallest building in Lubbock last year and it completely changed my outlook on living in The Hub City. I was stuck in a rut and getting sick of the same old thing, day in and day out. I needed a change of scenery. I knew I would enjoy having a cool view of the city, but I didn't realize how much I would love it. I can't see myself living anywhere else in Lubbock now. It's been great.

I try to take a photo of my view nearly every single day, especially when there is a lot of cloud activity or a nice sunset. It's been fun to watch storms roll in and out and meet the occasional hawk on my windowsill. Sometimes, I pull up a chair and stare out the window for hours. It doesn't feel like I'm in Lubbock when I'm up there. It feels like I'm in a bustling metropolis far away. When I sit on my couch, all you can see when you look out the window are the clouds. It's pretty wild. I've enjoyed having my friends over to see the view of Lubbock from its tallest point.
