A bull attacked a female tourist on a Mexican beach last Saturday. A video captured distressed onlookers warning her not to provoke it while it sniffed around her belongings in the sand. She also reportedly offered the animal some food from a bowl, like it was a harmless stray dog.

This was, of course, a terrible idea...

Check out the harrowing video below, and please caution as it may not be suitable for all viewers.

Big mistakes were made on the beach that day. She is lucky to have walked away with her life.

While some breeds of bulls are more docile than others, the National Institute of Health still ranks bulls among the most dangerous animals. They are known for their unpredictable and aggressive behavior, especially when provoked, or if they feel threatened. There are numerous recorded deaths and injuries caused by bulls. You should always be prepared for potential danger when close. It's best to steer clear.

What do you think about the way this woman behaved? Do you think she might have been intoxicated? Or was she just being stupid? I love reading your comments! Drop me one below this article, or email me at Chrissy.Covington@townsquaremedia.com.
