Google Maps Finally Has Texas Tech In 3D

Google Maps is constantly adding crazy new awesome features. Recently I discovered that you can actually go inside some retail stores in Google Maps. The latest feature is 3D maps, and Texas Tech has now joined those 3D ranks.

I remember scrolling around the world when I first learned about Google Maps, and how they had the satellite images where you could see your own house. Then they added the inside the store feature, where some stores allow you to actually go inside their business.

3D is the latest iteration of Google Maps awesomeness. And Texas Tech has been given the 3D treatment, along with many other Lubbock locations. Most of Lubbock will show up in the 3D view, but Google has given Tech the full treatment so it looks really cool.
