Hair care giant John Paul Mitchell Systems has announced that it is relocating its business headquarters from California to Dallas and will establish a new global distribution center. The company's relocation will create 80 new jobs for Texans and result in a substantial $12 million capital investment in Texas.

The co-founder of John Paul Mitchell Systems, John Paul DeJoria, has lived in Austin for 25 years and said he was "honored" that the company was chosen to receive a grant through the Texas Enterprise Fund, which is offered to businesses that relocate to Texas to create high-paying jobs and attract new investment to the state.

Texas Growth

Governor Abbot recently called Texas the "headquarters of headquarters" and expects the state to continue to attract more headquarters and create even more jobs, given the ever-strong pro-growth economic policies.
