This Sweet Lubbock Dog Was Horribly Abused. Let’s Find Her a Good Home.
One of the most heartbreaking things is to see an animal that's been abused or neglected. Thankfully, there are super-humans that have incredibly huge hearts to counter the awful treatment of the most innocent.
Saving Grace Pit Bull Rescue, located right here in Lubbock, was founded by a group of friends who saw the need for advocates who would work to better the lives of Pit Bulls in our community.
Zee, as she has become known, was abandoned at a local flea market and has clearly been abused and neglected. But what's also clear is that she doesn't want to give up. She just wants to be loved and protected -- which is what we all want, isn't it?
The most noble of gestures are those that go unnoticed, and the good people at Saving Grace Pit Bull Rescue are truly some of the best humans on the planet.
Starting as a small organization in 2006 helping about a dozen dogs, SGPBR became a tax exempt non-profit organization in 2011 and has since grown to be responsible for helping to adopt out many rescued dogs, along with successfully conducting several events to offer services such as spay/neuter, vaccination, and microchipping.
Thankfully, our community has people who are willing to take the time to give to our four legged companions in such an amazing way. Anyone who would willingly take the time to hurt an animal should be punished to the fullest extent allowable by law.
