The weekend is here, and Lubbock has a variety of fun events you can check out.

Even though the summer holiday season is over, that doesn't mean the fun is over. There are still a variety of great things to go do with your friends and family in and around the Lubbock area.

Summer Splash

From now to July 20, 2024, Campsite A at Buffalo Springs Lake is going to have fun for the whole family with drinks, food, games, and more.

This event is put on by everyone here at Townsquare Media Lubbock thanks to our friends at Coors Light, Reed Beverage, Coca-Cola, South Plains Electric Co-Op, Pollard Ford and more.

Friday kicks off with tastings from Coors Light and Reed Beverage at the campsite, Friday-Sunday will also have live music at the Texas Twister at the Marina, Monday-Thursday will then feature a different smoked meat each night. Thursday is special and features New Orleans-style chargrilled oysters provided by The Lone Star Oyster Bar as well as a crawfish boil.

Fresh Georgia Peaches

Another huge truckload of fresh Georgia peaches is coming to Lubbock on Saturday, July 13th from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Big Lots. You can buy 20lbs of Georgia peaches for $45 as well as 12oz of Georgia pecans for $15.
