Lubbock Local Restaurant Expands To 50th Street

A Lubbock local spot is opening a second location in a new area!

Pollo Rico is located at 1912 Clovis Rd. Lubbock, TX. They offer a wide array of fresh food – cuarto pollo, barbacoa burritos, carnitas burritos, al pastor tacos, asada tacos, birria quesadillas, pollo quesadillas, and al pastor tortas.

They say they use the freshest ingredients in preparing our food to provide the best quality and taste. Now doing so good they are opening a second spot on 50th street.

I have been there. The food and employees were great. I definitely need to go back. If you have never had the best pollo asado (fire-roasted) chicken in Lubbock, here’s your chance.

They have also added to their menu adding plates including birria tacos, caldo de res, caldo de pollo, steak ranchero, and many others.

The new location has plenty of dine-in space at this location (because the other one doesn't) and wants to invite the Lubbock community to come try their food and enjoy a great atmosphere while they do it.

Although there is not a drive thru at this location, they still want to welcome call-ahead orders and they will also be available via Door Dash.
