Texas Tech Takes Down BYU, Moves Up In The Polls

Texas Tech showed up big time on Saturday in Lubbock. The football team and the fans. Fans who had been waiting days to get into the stadium and of course the team that dominated all sides of the ball on Saturday. The Red Raider football team put on a show for fans across the nation this past Saturday now they are moving up in the polls.

Texas Tech Takes Down BYU

Texas Tech defeated BYU on Saturday 29-7, and honestly it wasn't even that close. Texas Tech had to settle for field goals a few too many times but at this point, that's just nitpicking. Texas Tech was dominate and it's very possible that these two teams could meet again in the Big 12 Championship if they both continue to win.

Texas Tech Moves Up in the AP and Coaches Polls, CFP Releases Rankings Tuesday

Despite Texas Tech's impressive win over another Top 10 team in BYU, Texas Tech only moved up one spot in the polls to #8 in both the AP and Coaches polls.

Texas Tech faces UCF on Saturday at 2:30 at Jones AT&T Stadium. UCF comes into Lubbock with a 4-5 record overall, 1-5 in Big 12 play. The game will air on FOX.
