Here are some inconvenient facts for those who want to claim the jailing of this Kentucky law clerk is religious persecution.

She would be in jail if she was Muslim.

She would be in jail if she was a Buddhist.

She would be in jail if she was Amish.

She would be in jail if she was an Atheist.

She would be in jail if she was a nudist.

When a court orders you to do a job that you were sworn to do, you have to do it. If a court orders you to pick up trash by the side of the highway (presumably as punishment for something) and you don't do it, you go to jail.

This woman's job is to put a few names on a form. It's incredibly easy, and for that she's paid $80,000 a year.

She's isn't being asked to go the weddings or approve of them. If she was that concerned about her beliefs, she'd interview each couple and make sure one isn't a murderer or something.

This lady did not go to jail for Jesus; she went for her right to be a--hole. You don't get that right under the equal protection clause of the 14th amendment.

She wants the ability to deny people a right the supreme court ruled that they have. She has also requested that her name be taken off the documents, which was denied. She wants all this, but she still wants to keep her $80,000 a year job. Life does not work that way. You couldn't define how you were going to do your job, either.

The Christian religion is not under attack. I've yet to see any gay people bar the doors to a church. Don't let this woman's irresponsible actions make you think otherwise.
