Knocksville, Lubbock’s Next Generation Baseball & Softball Training Facility, Opens Soon
People are serious about their baseball in Lubbock and around the South Plains. And if you're a parent who has a kid playing baseball in Lubbock, well, you already know how serious everyone is about baseball and everything that goes along with it.
That's why I think Knocksville LBK is about to be a huge hit in Lubbock when it opens. Knocksville touts itself as Lubbock's next generation baseball and softball training facility. Knocksville will feature a full-size infield, which will be all turf, team practice cages, video simulation pitching machines and gaming technology. Add it all together, and you get a great new facility in south Lubbock targeting players of every skill and age.
According to Knocksville's Facebook page, they're aiming to open in February, which is just around the corner. Knocksville also announced that Garrett Heard will be the director of training. Heard has 21 years of coaching experience and grew up in Littlefield.
From Knocksville:
Heard brings a wealth of leadership experience that extends beyond the diamond. He has been involved with FCA for over 19 years and now serves as an Ambassador for the East region of the South Plains FCA.
As the Director of Training at Knocksville, Heard is excited to bring his coaching and FCA experiences together to implement a holistic training culture designed to help players reach their full potential.
Knocksville’s DNA is to dream big, embrace the grind, own your edge, and share the love of the game. He hopes to establish these qualities into the community of baseball and softball families in and around the Lubbock area.
The facility will have memberships available. You can find out more about Knocksville, which will be located at 11717 Indiana Avenue, on their official website.
