Local Schools Back In Session This Week

As you head off to work, the gym, or for that morning cup of coffee this week there are a few things to keep in mind.

Lubbock ISD, Cooper ISD, and Frenship ISD all get back to school for the 2016-2017 school year starting today.

Also, keep an eye out for kiddos crossing the streets, slow down and remember to keep an eye out for school zone, sometimes the lights are not flashing on the first day and this early in the year kids are excited to be back in school and may dart out into the street without looking.

If your daily drive takes you near a local school you might plan on leaving a little earlier then normal since the first week of school traffic seems to be just a bit crazier.
