Tim Abascal is my buddy and my favorite bartender in town. I talked him into letting me sample a few cocktails, as well as his signature drink, The Ancho Sancho.

Not only does he give an outstanding show in his preparation of all things booze-related, but he's also an incredibly knowledgeable mixologist (he prefers the term "Inebriation Specialist") as well as a certified sommelier. In spite of my cooking skills, I know almost nothing about booze...except that when someone puts it in front of me, it disappears quickly.
