Daniel Wooldridge, frontman of local band Indego, released a new single for his solo side project 'Loafy' that will be available for download at noon on June 6th, 2022.

The single is called Sunmind and was recorded at his home studio here in Lubbock, Texas, then mastered at Burnt House Records by the late Marty Mata, who tragically passed on March 30th, 2022.

The single features an indie alternative/pop-punk title track and a lo-fi electronic bonus track entitled "Moldy."

"I'm really excited to share this project with everyone. Some of the styles of songs and the lyrical content will be different than my previous work with the bands I’ve been in (Indego, The project, Deep Creek)," Wooldridge told 94.5 FMX.

If you aren't familiar with Wooldridge's work, it's time to crawl out from under the rock you call home and check him out playing at various venues around town. He's one of the most talented musicians in Lubbock and it's always a joy to watch him jam.

You'll be able to stream his new single on Amazon, Spotify, iTunes, Shazam, and Deezer, so you don't have an excuse to not give it a listen. Give his song a listen, and then be sure to follow him on social media so that you can stay up to date on where to see him perform near you.

94.5 FMX does its very best to support local musicians and creative minds. If you're interested in being featured in an article, please don't hesitate to email us all of the deets and we will help out however we can. Rock on, Lubbock.
