To celebrate its grand opening, 25% off is offered storewide on July 17th and 18th, and the store mentioned a free lunch as a bonus. Here's the announcement from the Facebook page for the business:

Also pictured as tons of items, giving us an idea about what they currently have in store, and what they will likely stock in the future. Furniture, clothing, decor, home goods, kids' items, and even a wall of higher-end items like designer shoes. Exciting!

So not only can you feel good about keeping items out of landfills and reducing waste, you can know your purchase helps a very worthy cause. That's a win/win!

Why Thrifting In Lubbock Is A Great Idea

I have been a thrift store fanatic since I was a young teenager because it allowed me to have a unique style that no one else could replicate. It was also an affordable way to fuel my clothing and accessories addiction (I am a shameless clothes horse).

It is a great way to save money on the things you need, particularly furniture, as you can save hundreds with used items.

Every item you reuse reduces waste on several levels. I mentioned the landfill, but also the materials and energy to make a new item, and the emissions to transport it are also saved. Reuse is even better than recycling!

Welcome to Lubbock: A New Opportunity. I can't wait to hit those clothes racks!
