Pet Parents Celebrate National Kitten Day on Friday
Friday, June 10th, is National Kitten Day and though my cat is 5 years old she still acts very much like a kitten and her name is Kitty.
National Kitten Day is a day to remind people that kittens play an important role in the lives of many and in order help raise awareness about population control through spay or neuter so that no kitten is left unloved or neglected.
According to the National Day Calendar website, National Kitten Day should be observed by "Play with your kitten or bring her a new toy. Share a selfie with your kitten. Visit a shelter and volunteer your time. If you are considering getting a kitten, adopt instead of purchasing one. Use #NationalKittenDay to share your story."
Here are some selfies with Kitty and me for #NationalKittenDay:
Do you have a kitten who is also your snuggle buddy?
