Texas Ban On THC Threatens 7000 Small Businesses And Will Expand Black Market
Texas is about to get one heck of a lesson.
Texas THC Ban
We are about to be on the wrong side of a THC ban in Texas. Over 7,000 vape shops are about to lose some products and force otherwise law-abiding citizens to turn to the black market. Let me say out front, I do not use these products, tobacco, or alcohol, but I support your decision to make our own personal choices, and not have them dictated to you by the government.
The Leaders Of The Ban
Lt. Governor Dan Patrick led this ban. State Senator Charles Perry authorized the bill. The Texas Senate has passed it and it will head to the Texas House where the Speaker of The House Dustin Burrows is said to be aboard the idea of passing the ban. I sincerely hope all Texans remember the names of all three of these men when these stores close, and ordinary folks go back to getting what they want illegally.

How completely laughable is it that we live in a state that wants to give you the freedom not to immunize and possibly spread on communicable deadly diseases like measles, but won't give you the freedom to enjoy your downtime? Do we have bodily autonomy in Texas, or what? This is another example of the "small government" people, trying to insert their way into your life to serve raw red meat to their pearl-clutching base.
Texas Babysitters
Texas is at it's best when we "live and let live". It's something that we were always proud of and we're letting it slip away. If they can keep you from THC, they can legislate other things that they deem are bad for your health, even if they are not. It is a ridiculous time in Texas and this nonsense needs to stop.
