Oh how time can pass by when your having a blast. 1 year ago today The Wrecking Yard went live on FMX and I have each and everyone of you awesome listeners to thank for your support.

Radio is something that I was always fascinated with and something that I always wanted to do. Growing up in Decorah, IA there was only a few stations but I remember walking by our oldies station KVIK Gold and just watching the DJ through the window every day after school and knowing that is what I wanted to do with my life.

After high school I moved to Slaton, Texas to be closer to my Mema and Papa. And as life has shown us I got away from radio has to get a job and started working for TXDOT and was there for 10 years and enjoyed every bit of it.

I got my start in radio after having a conversation with Wes Nessman and after some time I was given my shot here at 94.5 FMX. It was just a part time job but this is what I have always wanted and I haven't looked back.

When I was offered the night job here at FMX there wasn't any question in my mind what I wanted to do. I am one of the lucky ones in this world that gets to do what they absolutely want to do in life.

I have all of you listeners to thank, and I will continue to do my best for yall to be entertained.

Here is to many more years for The Wrecking Yard!

this is still one of my favorite videos of myself continuously trying to one up Wes Nessman.
