It's already started to become difficult to remember life in Lubbock before the coronavirus pandemic began to dominate headlines and show topics across the globe.

My memory of how the timeline of events occurred seems to draw a vision of Lubbock being one of the last places to be impacted by the virus as it swept through the country and had begun to overwhelm hospitals in places including New York and Louisiana.

The first case of COVID-19 was confirmed on March 17th, 2020 in Lubbock. I have photos of myself out in public since then, but the images are vastly different from what my photo album looks like prior to that day.

I asked our listeners to help develop a digital time-capsule so that we have a place to reference some images of what life was like at public locations in Lubbock. The task was to look for the first photo of themselves at a public place in Lubbock that they could find dated before March 17th.
