Quality sleep often hinges on the right bedding, a fact that many overlook. Investing in quality sheets can lead to tangible improvements in sleep quality. Performance fabrics, commonly found in elite athletic wear, are now available in bedding designed to enhance comfort. For those who tend to run hot at night, these specialized sheets can help maintain a cool and dry sleeping environment. Alternatively, for lovers of that cozy, soft feel, there are options that promise consistent comfort from the moment one hops into bed. Furthermore, those with adjustable bases will appreciate the innovative Stay Fit corners that prevent slipping and popping off, regardless of how much the bed shifts. With the demands of daily life, a good night's sleep enables waking up refreshed and ready to tackle the day ahead.

As seen recently, the spirit of fun and celebration can be found in days like National Donut Day. This day serves as a reminder to indulge in favored treats from local donut shops. The variety is endless, and preferences abound—whether it's a raspberry jelly-filled delight or a classic glazed buttermilk donut, everyone has their favorites. Yet, the quest for the perfect donut often comes with humorous challenges, like uneven jelly distribution inside the pastry. One might wish for some advanced donut-making technology to ensure an even spread of raspberry goodness.

Also celebrated was National Moonshine Day, a throwback to more rustic times. The discussion around this day often revolves around the differences between store-bought and homemade varieties. The allure of moonshine lies not just in its potency, but in the tales that accompany it—stories of old timers and their unique concoctions that often lead to questionable decisions. Whether it’s the allure of a cinnamon-infused batch or the fear of questionable origins, moonshine has become a humorous topic of conversation.

In the realm of social media, the conversation took a lighter turn, with anecdotes of bizarre Walmart incidents peppering the dialogue. From folks encountering strange behavior to the memorable moments that seem unique to the world of big-box retailers, there’s never a dull day in the aisles. A recent story highlighted a Myrtle Beach detective embroiled in an amusing 'dumbass of the day' scenario where he pulled a gun over a heated dispute regarding the smell of fish in a microwave. The situation quickly unraveled and led to felony charges—showing just how wild workplace dynamics can become.

Conversely, the rise of AI and bots has also been a topic of contention, with many feeling they have overtaken human interaction online. The resulting frustration about content created solely to provoke reactions points to a deeper need for genuine communication in our digital spaces. These themes, merged with lighthearted tales from the entertainment industry, create an engaging overview of the current cultural moment, making for a thoughtfully curated discussion that resonates with audiences everywhere.

If you run hot at night, these [music] sheets help you stay cool and dry. If you love that cozy, ridiculously [music] soft feel, they've got that, too. Comfort that stays consistent from the moment you hop into bed. [music] And for anyone with an adjustable base, this is a gamecher. Their [music] Stay Fit corners are the best I've ever tried. It's the Rock Show's [music] Field of F and it is barren. Well, it is a very special day. Uh a day to honor donuts. All right. National Donut Day. Your nearest doughnut shop may or may not be offering a deal today. You might want to look that up. Yeah, I don't want to put it out there until I know about anything. Uh, favorite doughnut from you. I like the raspberry [music] jelly filled donuts. If they don't got those, I go for the the lemon filled one. Oh, I do like a good lemon filled jelly. [music] But, you know, it's good. You It's always an imbalance of where the jelly is inside the donut. Sometimes that is true. I wish they could get some doughut technology and get that spread [music] through there a little bit better. I like extra jelly, guys. Extra jelly. You heard that about Chrissy. What about you? Don't hit up her inbox unless you got the extra jelly. That's what I'm saying. What is your favorite doughnut? I like the ones that are kind of UFO shaped. Buttermilk. Oh, yum. You call them cake donuts. Yes, the cakey ones. They're not cakey. They're delicious. They're buttermilky. Okay, whatever. I actually like a a nice glazed buttermilk that's had the top dipped in chocolate. Oh, fancy. And I like to eat all the edges first, [music] then eat the internal uh ring last. You're a little kid after I lick all around that ring. Okay, that's how I eat a donut. All right, that is good stuff. It's also National Moonshine Day. You ever get ripped [music] on moonshine? Oh yeah, dude. Oh yeah. Especially when they started making that one that comes at the store in the jar. Listen, if it comes in the store, it's not No, it's not. It's not as strong. It doesn't count. It's not as strong as the stuff you buy on the side of the highway. Uh, but they have those moonshine cherries. Oh my god, those are good. It just does not count unless you're afraid you might die. You got to get it from someone named Bubba and think that you could go blind. Yeah. Yeah. I like that apple cinnamon that's got a slice of apple and a cinnamon stick in it and smells like gasoline. That's good stuff [music] right there. I make you crazy, right? Also, sausage [music] roll day. I don't know what sausage rolls are, but uh I I'm down. If they have anything to do with kalachis, then you think it's a kalachi, a pig in a blanket kind of thing. Yeah. Some people call them different stuff. Maybe that's what it is. Okay. Bad people right there. Um all right. Yeah, you're still down with the social media. You're going crazy with that. I mean, I'm using it like everyone else, but yeah. Well, actually, not like everyone else. It is now official that bots and AI use the internet more than actual humans. I really do believe that. I really do believe that. Yeah. Half the time you find something that angers you that was generated by a computer [music] that's trying to make you angry. Yes. It wants it wants you to comment. It wants you to be mad. Yeah. Exactly. That is messed up, dude. I can't stand that. I know. Somebody needs to be prosecuted. I agree. All right. Here you go. Uh the uh here's the uh weekend's entertainment lineup. Uh Masters of the Universe. Some of our friends have seen that and said it was really really fun. Nice. Scary movie. I'm I just think those are the dumbest thing ever. I like them even though they're dumb. Really? Yeah. I watch them all. I mean, the first one's the best one, but yeah, they are all kind of dumb. They're terrible. Yeah. And uh the Nick Jonas Paul Rudd movie Power Ballad. I think Nick Jonas steals a song from Paul Rudd and Paul Rudd gets upset and [music] then it goes downhill from there. Oh, and on TV this weekend, Office Romance. I don't know what's going on there. Possibly a romance in the office. In the office. Yeah. Um I am bummed though. I'm excited about this miniseries version of Cape Fear, but it's on uh it's on Apple TV. It's got that Javier Bardam. I always thought that guy was very creepy. I'm trying to think of who he is. Javar Bardam. Yeah. Who is he? Remember that one movie where he was going around killing people with the weird He had the weird haircut. Yes. With the Yes. With the thing. Yeah. Yeah. With a little air power thing. Yes. Oh, I do know who he is. He is creepy. He's very creepy. And I think he'd be really really great in this movie. That makes its way over to Apple TV if you've got it. And so the voices [music] echo across the desolate and unfertile plane. Unheard but unto themselves. [music] This has been the rock show's feel. This is the rock show. Coming up in the dumbass of the day, a microwave meal meltdown and a stolen [music] cop car crawl. Whether it's burgers and fries or last night's leftovers. Everything tastes better with Rock. It's even better for your digestion. [music] Don't miss 60 minutes of backtoback Rock. Weekdays at 11:50 with a free [music] lunch on FMX. The Rock Show challenges two idiots to enter the ring of stupidity, [music] but only one will leave with the title of the dumbass of the day. A 46-year-old Myrtle Beach detective named Michael Debase was arrested after police say an argument over office etiquette got way out of hand. Okay, then. Authorities say Debbase became furious because another officer warmed up fish in the police headquarters microwave, creating a smell he apparently could not ignore. Instead of his opening a window, Debase allegedly pointed his gun at the patrol man over the fishy situation. Yeah, you kind of probably shouldn't do that. Yeah, he got charged with a felony. So, yeah, you can't do that. Although, it is annoying when people uh warm up fish. Yeah, I certainly understand that. Mhm. I like to warm up food in my office and then blow it towards Chrissy's office with a fan. It's got a fan. Smell that beef. Smell that big old sausage. I get to smell sausage and enchiladas all the time coming at you. There you go. Thank you, man. I've got a Chicago man who was in Florida and that pretty much, you know, right there. You take off the brakes when you're in Florida. Uh he went to a bar and he got really really drunk and he decided he wanted to go to another bar. So he walked outside and it was a police car. So he took the police car to a second bar and went inside and started drinking. Why not? Well, and of course the cops could find him because he just parked the police car there. They didn't appreciate their car being borrowed. What a dummy. [music] Who will be proven to have a brain powered entirely by Dialup Internet? What's happening on that app? Well, exciting news, friends. The Love Spirit Halloween stores are now hiring. That means the Halloween's right around the corner. Holy moly. Isn't that crazy? Yeah, that is nuts. This year has flown by. Uh, things did not work out for the Texas Tech softball team. Oh no. But as Chrissy says, uh, you tried real hard. Yeah, that's all that matters. Getting out there, having a good time, trying real hard. That sucks though. Spend a couple million dollars on that roster. Yeah, you know. Well, all we really ask is that you try hard. Exactly. Somebody has to lose. [music] And so sometimes it's you. It's okay. All right. Uh, hug it out. You can hug it out. On the other side, the New Home Leopards are state champions in baseball. Hey, I know everybody was rooting for them. All right, New Home. Way to go, New Home. Great job. Go Leopards. Ah, yeah. Go Leopards. It's an interesting mascot. Never seen a leopard in New Home. Well, they're very good at hiding. [laughter] Okay. Anyway, Rene's out at Tahas today. We want you to keep that in mind. Now, let's go to the scanner here. 12. One [music] man with a gun, no warrant. All right, here we go. Chrissy, I'm ready. Let's do it. We've got some stuff from the LBK [music] scanner squad. We appreciate them so very much for their hard work. Yes, just good people over there. You know, they actually contribute a lot to our smoking poles. They do. They're awesome. They really are cool. Good people. I have no idea who it is, though. No clue, but we like them. There you go. The 400 uh block of Avenue Q, the Taco Bell, a female causing a disturbance. Uhoh. The seventh layer in that burrito was these fists. They must have been out of Baja Blast. Exactly. Oh, here's a creepy one. I wish I had the X Files ready. I don't, but I'll just say it real quietly. Okay. All right. Here you go. From the 3,400 block of 39th, a possible burglary in progress. The caller woke up to banging in the attic and now can't open the attic. They believe somebody is up there. Oh, that gave me the graves, dude. I know. Isn't that freaky? Oh, that is so scary. [music] I would I'd be freaking out. Absolutely freaking out. From East two lane in North S. Somebody passed out in a Cadillac. It happens. You know, you're in a Cadillac. They're pretty comfy. Good spot to take a nap. No, I get passed out in [music] some kind of, you know, subcompact car or something like that. True. Hey, here you go. From the 100 North University. This is my hood over here. The Dollar [music] Tree. Yeah. A female without a shirt. Maybe she was going to Dollar Tree to get one. Do they have dollar shirts? Yeah, maybe. I don't know. All right, Chrissy, make up a backstory for this one. Okay. All right. From uh once again, one of those five-digit numbers. I hate this. Let's just [music] say way out there on Avenue Q. Uhhuh. A woman with a bat and a broke a windshield. [music] You want to guess what happened there? Somebody angry at her boyfriend. Yeah. You know, a bat is a is an excellent tool for that. Really? Exactly. [music] If a woman's going after a car with a bat, somebody cheated. Yeah, they did. Yeah, they did. And from the 7200 block of 19th at [music] the tootin totem. Uh-oh. The EMS is requesting PD assistance at [music] the toot and totem. You want to guess what happened? What happened, Wes? Somebody tooted when they should have tote him. Okay, [music] thank you. I am going to do that joke 100 times before I stop. It's up to date in Dutch and after Breeze. [music] This has been Love It or Leave it. [music] The Rock Show salutes New Deal Texas, home of the Lions. [music] We'd be lying if we said there was any reason to visit New Deal. New Deal [music] is proof you can put new in front of anything and still have it look like it hasn't been updated since 1974. New Deal has a new gas station, and that's [music] about as exciting as it gets. The top industry in town is stealing aluminum from mobile homes. [music] New Deal Texas, we salute you. 94.5 FMX. Why think [music] for yourself when the Rock Show can do it for you? This is good thing bad thing. All right, Chrissy, you're familiar with the concept of those Whimo cars. Yes, I am. Now, that is a driverless vehicle, and there's been some incidents. Uh-huh. Well, check this one out. Uhoh. A thief in San Francisco used a Whimo as his getaway driver. Oh, now ordinarily this would be on the dumbass of the day. We're like, "Hey, you're trapped inside that car." [music] But this guy not only was successful, he's been successful for 6 months. They still haven't caught him. Yeah, you would think it would leave a digital trail of some sort. Wow. But yeah, you can use these self-driving cars as getaway cars. Uh, this could be bad. This could be bad or good depending on the kind of person you are, you know. Yeah, [music] I suppose so. That is That's pretty sketch, dude. That is pretty sketch. So, do we call it good or bad? Uh, I think we have to call it a bad thing, don't we? Yeah, I guess robbing people's bad. Yeah, that is bad. That's [music] what I heard. Bad thing. Wow. Okay, I guess there's a big beep coming on. Because scientists want you to know that masturbation among birds is natural and should not be punished. Uh, who's punishing the birds? Who is spanking? Are y'all putting birds in timeout? I'm I just kind of, you know, when I see those things happening in nature, I just kind of go, "Ew." And keep walking. I wouldn't know if How would I know if a bird was doing that? Uh, yeah, exactly. What does it look like? Uh, you know, again, if you see something like that, you just kind of keep walking. [music] [laughter] Does the bird have a little magazine in front of it? [laughter] He's looking at pictures of really sexy birds. Yeah. Uh, I don't know, man. So, I guess let birds be birds and we'll call that a good thing. Yeah, probably. So, just kind of let the let the birds do what they need to [music] do. Leave the birds alone. I didn't realize this was a problem. It's not a problem, I don't think. Have you ever seen it? Yeah, I haven't either. Good thing. Oh, boy. I don't know how they do that. I don't either. I've got some work to do on the internet today. [laughter] Oh, great use of uh computers at work, please. All right. I subscribe to a lot of pages that let me know what the food trends are. You know, when there's going to be like a triple crunchy something, whatever release, whatever. The big trend right now, believe it or not, is Christian energy drinks. Oh, have a have a look at that right there. Those are the big trends. That is the Yahweh energy drink. It says take him anywhere. Oh, no. Right there. And then there's also forgiven and praise. Oh, Christian energy drinks. Kind of seems a little scammy to me. Oh, yeah. More than a little scammy, dude. More than a. There's a picture of Jesus on the can. [music] Yeah. No thank you. No thank you. Energy drinks banana. What would Jesus do? He'd go further with new Yahweh energy drink. [laughter] Take it to [music] the next level with the J man. [laughter] You know that's what the commercial's going to sound like. I'll probably be the one cutting the commercial. You will. [laughter] Oh no. Uh, okay. Oh my god. The flavor. You can't even see it. What is it? What is it? It's called Berry Blessed. Barry Blessed. Get out of here. Get Barry. I know. I get out of here. Get out of here. This is ridiculous. No. Bad thing. Now you know the score. [music] This is good thing bad thing on a rock show. This is the rock show. Well, it's highly specific [music] on the Smok and Pole today. What's the strangest thing you've seen at a Walmart? It's bad enough that you have to fight traffic on the loop to get home. We make that ride easier with 60 minutes of backto back rock. It's a traffic jam weekdays beginning at 4:50 on FMX. Join FMAX. Today on the pod, we're [music] talking to Joan, a method actor and scratchers enthusiast. So Joan, what do you like about playing Scratchers? Well, as a method actor, it's about becoming the ticket. Scratching up, down, stage left, stage right. So So what's your motivation? Because your performance feels so real. [laughter] Oh, I was just tapping into my inner scratchers. Incredible. Yes. Bravo me. Scratchers from the California Lottery. A little [music] play can make your day. Please play responsibly. Must be 18 years or older to purchase player claim. Great moments [music] in Dad Jokery. Well, you've looked forward to it all week, Chrissy. And now it's here. I have. Yes, of course you have. You've dreamed about it, I believe. Perhaps prayed about it a little bit. I don't think so. And your thoughts and prayers came true. There's proof of that right there, Chrissy. What? This elephant gets on a bus. Imagine that. An elephant squeezing through the little uh doors there. An elephant gets on the bus. You know that elephants are big. They are. Elvin gets on a bus and sits down and the guy says, "Wow, this is the first time I've seen an elephant on the bus." Uhhuh. Yeah. Cuz he's pretty amazed that the elephant made it on the bus. Okay. Yeah. And the elephant says, "Yeah, it'll probably be the last time cuz my motorcycle's getting out of the shop tomorrow." [laughter] That's kind of cute. That's so cute. cuz you could kind of imagine an elephant on a motorcycle even better than an elephant on a bus. This has been Great Moments in Dad Joker on the Rock Show. I feel stupid. You are the most fun in the morning. This is the Rock Show on 94.5 FMX. 94.5 [music] FMX. When questions have to be answered, it's you to the rescue. [music] This is the Rock Show's Smok and Pole. Our question today is, what's the strangest thing you've seen at a Walmart? Oh, man. Now, in defense of Walmart, a lot of people go there, and the more people that go to a place, the more incidents you're going to have. Yeah. It doesn't mean that the place is inherently bad or anything like that. No, you can see weird stuff everywhere. But you do see a lot of weird stuff at Walmart. You know, I went there this past Sunday morning. I see this family coming out, a completely normal family. But the dad was wearing pajama pants. [music] I think that that's what you're supposed to wear to Walmart. That's the Walmart uniform. That's what kids and women wear to Walmart. A grown man should not wear jam jam. Dad wearing jammies is a little bit unsettling. Was he a young dad? No. And and it tells me far too much about you. [laughter] You overgrown child. Put on some pants to [music] go to the store. All right. Anyways, we get together with the Rock Show Rogue Crew every Sunday to get us started with these questions. You'd be welcome to join us this weekend if you can get out of bed. So, here you go. Ashley, what's the strangest thing you've seen at Walmart? [music] Uh, well, the strangest thing, it's funny story. Uh, this little kid was up in the, you know, the basket in front of me and I wasn't paying attention. I look up and he's wearing a neon green wig and like a a a mask. It was right around Christmas. It was like a Jean Simmons mask. This kid couldn't have been more than three or four. And I'm like, I took a picture. The mom let me. Kind of a clown baby or something. Stephanie, what's the strangest thing you've seen at Walmart? Remember that website, the people of Walmart? Yes. I never believed that until I actually saw some of the people dressed that way. [laughter] The people at Walmart are crazy. Exactly. Cousin Ronnie, what about you? Picture this. His and her mumus and they were see-through and they had their under and he he had a thong on as well. Oh boy. Yeah. [laughter] And this is of all places. This was down in Alabama. [laughter] I just need to know. Were they matching thongs? Matching mumoo. I didn't. It was too bright. I couldn't You didn't get that close. All right. Stephen Kelly, what's the strangest thing you've seen at Walmart? They misspelled stop on the as at the stop sign. Oh, really? I've seen that. It's still faintly there. Really, Jeremy? Strangest thing you've seen at Walmart? The fact that people work and shop there voluntarily. [laughter] Every Walmart feels like they're a waiting room for a situation nobody fully explains. [laughter] You're not wrong, Susie. Strangest thing you've seen at Walmart. I try to avoid that place, but I think that anytime you pull into the parking lot, there's going to be a dirty diaper somewhere. Oh my god, there is. Yes, I went there this morning and it happened. And Anna, strangest thing you've seen at Walmart. Me. Okay, then we think you're sweet, but okay. This is the rock show. Coming up, we'll take a quick pause from the smok and [music] pull and roll into the dumbass of the day. This is a dumbass update on the Rock Show. A 46-year-old detective in Myrtle Beach named Michael Debase was arrested after he got really angry in the police headquarters dining area. Okay. Apparently, another officer warmed up some fish in the microwave, creating that disgusting fishy smell that nobody likes. Yeah. Instead of just opening a window or maybe grumbling at the guy, he pulled his gun out and pointed it at him, basically threatening to kill him. Okay. So, uh, he got charged with a felony for that cuz you can't just pull your gun out all willy-nilly over fish sticks. I'll make a note of that. Yeah, write that down. A little bit of a note. Yeah. All right. I got a Chicago man who's in Florida. And when you're in Florida, you you do what the locals do. When in Rome is the old saying right there, I guess so. All right. Here's what happened. 38-year-old John Mack went into a bar and he got he got his snoot full of of the liquor. Yes. The devil's water. got full of all of that. And then when he left the bar, he thought, "You know what? I'd really like to go to another bar to have a good time." Yeah. So, he looked around and there was a cop car with its keys in it. Hey, perfect. So, he got in the cop car, drove to a second bar, and started getting another snoot full. This guy is really bold. He was still sitting there when the cops said, "Hey, you the guy that took our car?" Go. Who will be exposed as running on fumes and bad [music] decisions? Find out your winner for the dumbass of the day today at 8:35 on the Rock Show. The Rock Show [music] with Chrissy and West on FMX. 94.5 [music] FMX. It's Chrissy and Wes from the Rock Show on the Smok and Pull today. Strangest thing you've seen at Walmart. All right, thank you everybody for your answers on Facebook. We're going to start with our friend Marvelous Anomaly. Uhhuh. He said, "I didn't just see it, I actually did it." He said one time he went and stacked some DVDs so high that you need a ladder to get one down without causing an avalanche. Marvelous. Yeah, he's just causing chaos wherever he goes. Terrible. Yeah. Uh Gabriel said he went to buy some work boots once. He opened a box and found an old beat up pair of shoes that somebody had swapped for the new work booth. Oh, yeah. He said that Walmart location never disappoints. Wow. Yeah. Okay. Uh Al said a mom in what I assume was her daughter were both wearing matching Juicy tracksuits. He said, "I wasn't prepared for that level of coordination." [laughter] Oh, do you remember those tracksuits? Say Juicy on the butt. Yeah, you never see those anymore. Rio. Uh, Kimmy said, "My equally old and equally fluffy friend was driving a mobility scooter and I climbed up on the seat trying to reach something on the top shelf." She said a guy came running around the corner yelling, "You're going to fall." And that's when she realized how ridiculous they both looked. [laughter] I love everybody outing themselves. Uh, Emily said she saw a woman fill a basket to the brim with groceries, try to walk out, get stopped, and then run away, leaving all five of her children standing behind. Oh, no. She's like, "Screw them kids. I'm going." You should take the kids with you, right? Uh, Gina commented and just said, "Y'all don't have enough time for this story." Okay, Gina, now we really want to know. All right, Gina. Uh, Ingred said a woman walking around with her boyfriend wrapped around her like he was an emotional support blanket. Yeah, that's everyday, man. Yeah, that's kind of just everyday weird. Yeah. Um, Chris Carlson said, "A couple set up lawn chairs in a charcoal grill in the parking lot, and the guy spent all night sharpening a machete. Just scrape, scrape, scrape, scrape." Oh my god. Chris, were you working there? That's crazy. How do you know? All night sharpening the machete. He must have He must be on the payroll there something. That's crazy, right? Uh Richie said he saw a girl have an accident right in the aisle. He said before anybody could stop it, people were rolling their carts through it. Yes. Rolling their carts through her accident. I am mentally uh Go ahead and put that together. Digesting this one. Yeah. Richie said he almost quit his job right there on the spot. She was She made the duty. Uh-huh. Something. And people were rolling through it. Something. Mhm. Yeah. Lovely. Well, at least there was a little lube for that bad wheel on the car. No. Oh, [laughter] gross. Uh Jess commented and said, "You know, after 10 p.m. Walmart just becomes a completely different dimension." You're right. I love it. And Brandy said they saw a guy carrying a full-size ceiling fan through the store like it was a bouquet of flowers. This is the rock show. Doubleheaded. Yeah. 94.5 FMX. Hey, it's Chrissy and Wes from the Rock Show. And boy, we got a banger today. What's the strangest thing you've seen at Walmart? All right, friends. Thank you for your answers. We're going to start with Tyler Garrison. He said he watched two women arguing over the last rotisserie chicken one time. All right. You know, that's that's Well, they are delicious. To be expected. Yeah, I'd argue for it. Uh Ricky said he saw a man carefully smelling every single candle on the aisle. He said every single one. It probably took him about 20 minutes. You got to stop and smell the candles. Yes, the phrase. Yeah. Uh Melissa said a lady brought her parrot shopping with her and the bird kept yelling nope every time she picks something up. I'm willing to bet she does that all the time. We'll probably run across that parrot at some point in the near future. [laughter] The nope parrot. Yeah. Uh Jason said he was at Walmart one time and saw a teenager rollerblading through the automotive area. Okay, that sounds kind of like an awesome place to rollerblading. Again, I don't think that's a rare occurrence, right? Uh Lori said a a little kid announced over and over, "Mom, that's not your dad." every time someone walked by. What is going on there? Yeah, something weird. Uh Amanda said a woman was FaceTiming somebody while shopping and the person on the phone was making all the purchasing decisions. Okay, that's kind of like shopping with a buddy except virtually. Yeah, somebody may be a hostage. Could be. Uh Kevin said he saw a guy wearing a bathrobe, cowboy boots, and sunglasses sometime around midnight. Matthew McConnA probably. All right. Uh Jessica said one time she was at Walmart and she saw a kid lick a freezer door and immediately gross out. [laughter] Probably some Windex on there. Yeah, I'll teach him. Troy said someone parked a riding mower in the parking lot once. Okay, nice. All right. Uh Kelsey said that she saw an elderly woman using a pool noodle to pull items off the top shelf. She said she honestly thought that that was kind of genius. I've done stuff like that. Well, you're not going to get any help. And Brian said one time he saw a man standing there talking to a mannequin uh trying to convince it to move out of his way for far too long. Nice. This is the rock show. It's real news with a reality check. It's your random stuff next [music] on the Rock Show. [music] 94.5 FMX. It's three bad jokes for less than the price of one good one. This is random [ __ ] A fish species has been discovered that has lived and thrived for a 100,000 years without males. Oh, the all female fish species also has an excellent softball [music] league. I bet they do. I bet they do. Thanks, Wes. Thank you. I'm quivering in anticipation of more random [ __ ] New robot shoes will let you walk up to 6 miles an hour. Wow. Which is great cuz you're going to need them to run away as fast as possible while everybody laughs at you. [laughter] Here's more random. [music] Roman gladiators were mostly vegetarian. Really? And that's probably why you don't see many of them around anymore. Okay. Yeah, that's [music] why. See, you just pulled three things out of a greasy bag of laughs. This has been the Rock Show's [music] random [ __ ] This is The Rock Show. Coming up in the dumbass of the day, a microwave meal meltdown and a stolen cop [music] car crawl. It's the rock you need to get through the drive-thru and back. Don't miss the free lunch. [music] 60 Minutes of Backto back rock weekdays beginning at 11:50 on FMX. 94.5 FMX. It's time for one unfortunate soul to pull the finger of destiny and be crowned the dumbass of the day on the Rock Show. My story today comes out of Myrtle Beach where a 46-year-old detective named Michael Debase was just arrested after police say he got into a major argument with a coworker at work. Okay. Now, what happened there? So, well, authorities say he got really, really angry because another officer warmed up some fish in the microwave at the police headquarters. Yeah, you don't do that. That stink uh sticks around. Yes. The smell just smelled up everything. And he apparently could not ignore it at all. I mean, he could have gone over and opened a window or, you know, waved it off, but instead he pulled out his gun and pointed it at him and basically threatened to kill him. So, he got charged with a felony for that and definitely lost his [music] job. I like how you pointed out that the smell smelled up everything. Oh, yes. That is a good uh rule of life for everyone. She smells smells up everything. Yeah, keep that in mind, everybody. [laughter] Smells smell up everything. They do. Shut up. You know, it's important that we have a dumbest moment of the show so that the rest of it can be judged by that. I think we found it already. I don't know. Get ready. [laughter] I got a lot of mislead. Okay. I got a Chicago man who was on vacation in Florida and I guess he went wild like Florida people do. He went to a bar and he got a snoot full of the alcohol right there. The John barley corn is what they called it in the old days. Oh, right. Okay. He had a John barley corn and he went outside. I guess he caught some fresh air and he goes, "You know, I'd really like some more of that booze. I think I'll go check out a new place." Nice. So, he saw a cop car there with the keys in it, decided to take the cop car over to the second location to go drink some more. Yeah. Don't mind if I do. He was still drinking inside when the cops found their cop car. So there you go. And the winner is Oh, wow. I'm surprised it's actually me today in the Fishy Guy. Well, because smells smell up everything. [laughter] Someone just earned a gold medal in the Olympic sport of bad ideas. [music] Join us weekday mornings for two all new dumb asses at 6:35 and 7:35 on [music] The Rock Show. This is The Rock Show. On the way, we're talking donuts and the robots have taken over. But, you know, it's got you It's always [music] an imbalance of where the jelly is inside the doughut. Sometimes that is true. I wish they could get some doughut technology and [music] get that spread through there a little bit better. I like extra jelly, guys. Extra [music] jelly. You heard that about Chrissy. What about you? Don't hit up her inbox unless you got the extra jelly. That's what I'm saying. What is your favorite donut? I like the ones that are kind of UFO shaped. Uh buttermilks. Oh, yum. You call them cake donuts. [music] Yes, the cakey ones. They're not cakey. They're delicious. They're buttermilky. Okay, whatever. I actually like a a nice glazed buttermilk that's had the top dipped [music] in chocolate. Oh, fancy. And I like to eat all the edges first, then eat the internal uh ring last. I make you crazy. Also, sausage [music] roll day. I don't know what sausage rolls are, but uh I I'm down. If they have anything to do with kalachis, then you think it's a kalachi, [music] a pig in a blanket kind of thing. Yeah. Some people call them different stuff. Maybe that's what it is. Okay. Bad people right there. Um all right. You're still down with the social media. You're going crazy with that. I mean, I'm using it like everyone else, but yeah. Well, actually, not like everyone else. It is now official [music] that bots and AI use the internet more than actual humans. I really do believe that. I really do believe that. Yeah. Half the time you find something that angers you that was generated by a computer that's trying to make you angry. Nice scary movie. I'm I just think those are the dumbest thing ever. I like them even though they're dumb. Really? Yeah. I watch them all. I mean the first one's the best one, but yeah, they are all kind of dumb. Yeah. Um I am bombed though. I'm excited about this miniseries version of Cape Fear, but it's on uh it's on Apple TV. It's got that Javier Bardam. I always thought that guy was very creepy. I'm trying to think of who he is. Javar Bardam. Yeah. Who is that? Remember that one movie where he was going around killing people with the weird He had the weird haircut. Yes. With the Yes. With the thing. Yeah. Yeah. With a little air power thing. Yes. Oh, I do know who he is. He is creepy. He's very creepy. And I think he'd be really really great in this movie. That makes its way over to Apple TV if you've got it. And so the voices [music] echo across the desolate and unfertile plane. Unheard but unto themselves. [music] This has been the rock show's field. Today's rock show and other historic moments [music] of questionable radio brilliance are waiting for you on demand, including YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, [music] Google Podcasts, and anywhere else that bravely hosts audio chaos. You can also cast your very serious vote for [music] dumbass of the day on the Rock Show Road Crew Facebook page. Then immediately correct society by jumping into the smoke and [music] poll where opinions are loud, proud, and rarely correct. Chrissy [music] and Wes would also like to remind you to spay and neuter your pets, hug the good ones, side eye the bad ones, and [music] maybe question your own decisions along the way. This message self-destructs the second you [music] stop listening. That is all, mother. Today on the pod, we're talking to Megan, trapeze artist and scratchers enthusiast. So, Megan, what do you like about playing scratchers? Well, they're easy to play when I'm hanging around. Oh, okay. Like when you're relaxing? No, like when I'm hanging on the trapeze. I swing upside down, then do a quadruple somersault. All while playing a scratchers. Watch this. Tada! Unbelievable. I know, right? Scratchers from [music] the California Lottery. A little play can make your day. Please play responsibly.
