Why Every Concert That Comes to Lubbock Is ‘Killer’

Some of you don't know how to take it when I band you don't like comes to Lubbock.

Our digital guy Justin likes the word "killer." If you haven't noticed, no matter who the band is, the headline on Facebook includes the words "Killer Band." Some folks then get extremely butthurt when it's not their favorite band.

A good rule of thumb on this is, 1.) Justin calls every band "killer," and 2.) Every band that comes to Lubbock is somebody's favorite band (at least enough to buy tickets).

Hopefully, your favorite band will come to town. Nobody thought Metallica would come back, but they are. And nobody thought the last FMX Birthday Bash would be a metal show. And you don't know what else we have lined up.
