Doors for The Yarny Way will open on Wednesday, July 2, at 10 am, according to the website, from which yarn enthusiasts can currently make purchases online.
The sign on the door is a little more ambiguous, but incredibly cute so I'm including it:
What Does The Yarny Way Have To Offer?
From The Yarny Way's Facebook page, it appears the store will not only sell a curated collection of fibers and implements, but will also offer classes:
A yarn boutique and creative hub for fiber artists in Lubbock, with a curated selection of natural and animal fiber yarns, indie-dyed skeins, and artisan-crafted tools. Shop. Learn. Create.

The shop owner, Marni Reecer, M.A., describes herself as a "maker, strategist" and her creative capabilities/ styles as" [the ability to] design, knit, crochet, write patterns, and sometimes invent looms when I can’t find what I need. My creative style leans simple, functional, and inclusive."
Local Rules In Lubbock
I'm always thrilled to see what new and exciting stores are coming to Lubbock's iconic Kingsgate, and when it's a local, independent store, I'm over the moon! Which is perfect considering The Yarny Way's cosmic vibe.
I have never been particularly successful in the fiber arts, but I have many friends who are knitters and crocheters that I know will be thrilled for not only this new shopping option, but for the new, local community that it will surely foster and grow.
Welcome to Lubbock, The Yarny Way! We are excited.
